This grater is clearly well designed. I've used it for vegetables, nutmeg and cheese so far. What I love is how much quickly I can grate through things by moving back and forth, as the blades are bidirectional. The surface area is also the right size for most things you could possibly want to grate. The blades are really sharp, which should be grate (ha) for longevity

This is a very good grater with quality sharpness. My only recommendation would be get the brands cut resistant gloves too so that you don’t worry about cutting yourself.

Really like this product...well made and easy to use. I also like that it comes with a plastic sleeve/guard; very handy for storage.

I love how sturdily it's built. The insert keeps the shredded veg inside and easy to retrieve. The blades are wicked sharp (so watch your knuckles). There are a couple of down sides: First, it's hard to clean. Food gets stuck on the fine grate side and you have to have a brush to clean it with so you don't get cut. It's a pain. I had to use a bristle brush. Because it's so sharp, I had to buy protective gloves and my kids can't use the grater. I finally chucked mine in the trash. It's too much trouble.
