Crafted from a single piece of specially selected curly birch, the Eggen knife's handle is a thing of beauty. It is sanded and polished to a satin finish and is designed to fit comfortably in your hand. The handle tapers towards the blade, ending in a well-proportioned finger guard for added safety.
The triple-laminated stainless steel blade has a slight drop point shape and a classic scandi grind. It is hand-sharpened and polished to ensure that it is razor-sharp right out of the box.

I liked the looks of the Okuma knife , it has nice blue handle with 3 rivets , very well made from Ginza Japanese steel and very sharp blade can cut paper because it's so sharp .

I have a few Japanese knives of high carbon steel that are my favourites, but the claim of VG10 steel on this blade at this price made it irresistible. The blade came sharp, but I typically sharpen to a higher level. Although I haven't refined the edge yet, I look forward to seeing the results on this blade, as I really like it on some of my pocket knives.

This meat fork (Fleishe Gabel in German) looks awesome and very well-made, just like my oversized Guede Alpha Brot Messer was. I've received several compliments about it already this year, including a "WOW, that's really cool!" from the Made-In store manager in Austin.
