Titanium cookware is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and designed for high-heat cooking. The addition of a stainless steel lid expands functionality for steaming, simmering, and moisture control. Proper care will ensure long-term performance and durability.

Before First Use

1. 
   Wash both the wok and lid with warm water and mild detergent to remove any manufacturing residue.
   
2. 
   Rinse thoroughly and dry completely with a soft cloth.
   
3. 
   Lightly heat the wok and wipe a small amount of oil across the surface, then wipe clean. This is optional and helps improve initial cooking performance.
   

Daily Use & Cleaning

Wok (Titanium)

1. 
   Allow the wok to cool naturally before cleaning to avoid thermal shock.
   
2. 
   Wash with warm water, mild soap, and a soft sponge.
   
3. 
   Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool to preserve the surface finish.
   
4. 
   Dry immediately after washing to prevent water marks.
   
5. 
   Do not use a dishwasher; hand washing is recommended.
   

Lid (Stainless Steel)

1. Wash with warm water and mild detergent.
   
2. For stubborn stains or discoloration, use a non-abrasive cleaner or baking soda paste.
   
3. Dry thoroughly to maintain shine and prevent spotting.
   

Cooking Guidelines

1. Preheat the wok before adding oil or ingredients.
   
2. Use medium to high heat depending on your cooking style—titanium responds quickly to heat changes.
   
3. Always add oil before cooking, as titanium is not naturally non-stick.
   
4. Avoid prolonged heating of an empty wok, which can cause discoloration or reduce performance.
   
5. Use the lid when steaming, simmering, or retaining moisture during cooking.
   

Storage

1. Store the wok and lid in a clean, dry place.
   
2. If stacking, place a soft cloth or paper towel between items to prevent scratches.
   
3. Ensure both wok and lid are completely dry before storage.
   

Troubleshooting

• Food sticking:
  Ensure proper preheating and sufficient oil use. Titanium requires technique rather than seasoning.
  
• Discoloration (blue/yellow tint):
  Normal with high heat and does not affect performance.
  
• Water spots on lid or wok:
  Dry immediately after washing or polish lightly with a soft cloth.
  
• Stubborn residue:
  Soak briefly in warm water and clean with a soft sponge or baking soda paste.

Important Material Notes (Do Not Overlook)

• Titanium is naturally rust-resistant, so oiling is not required for protection.
  
• The surface is uncoated, meaning there is no chemical non-stick layer.
  
• Unlike carbon steel, titanium does not build a strong seasoning layer, so performance depends on heat control and oil use.
