To maintain the quality of your stainless steel, allow the pan to cool completely before washing. Avoid extreme temperature changes, as putting a hot pan directly into cold water can damage it. After cooling, you can safely clean the pan by placing it in the dishwasher or washing it by hand with a soft sponge or brush and mild dishwashing soap.
