The GÜDE grip wood oil serves to shield wood from moisture and dirt, effectively prolonging its lifespan. By preventing premature aging, it accentuates the natural grain of the wood while also averting staining. With GÜDE Handle Wood Oil, treated wood appears revitalized, akin to its original state.
To apply, use a soft cloth to sparingly coat the clean and dry wooden handle. After a maximum of 20 minutes, thoroughly rub the handle dry. For hygiene, wash hands after use. Simple as that.

The GÜDE grip wood oil is formulated with linseed oil as its base. It's important to note that cloths containing linseed oil residues have the potential to self-ignite under specific conditions. Therefore, after use, you should either store the oil-soaked cloth in an airtight screw-top jar or let it dry out in a controlled manner before disposing of it. This precaution helps mitigate any fire risk associated with linseed oil.

I liked the looks of the Okuma knife , it has nice blue handle with 3 rivets , very well made from Ginza Japanese steel and very sharp blade can cut paper because it's so sharp .

I have a few Japanese knives of high carbon steel that are my favourites, but the claim of VG10 steel on this blade at this price made it irresistible. The blade came sharp, but I typically sharpen to a higher level. Although I haven't refined the edge yet, I look forward to seeing the results on this blade, as I really like it on some of my pocket knives.
