The Original — Full-Size Professional Knives
The G Series is where Global began. These are full-size, professional-grade knives featuring Global's iconic hollow stainless steel handle filled with sand to achieve ideal balance. Blades are forged from CROMOVA 18 stainless steel — a proprietary alloy of chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium — hardened to 56–58 HRC for an edge that holds its sharpness far longer than typical Western steel.

Unlike the seamless G Series, GF blades are forged (not stamped) and joined to a distinctive dimpled handle. Caring for Your Global Knife
