Illustrated step-by-step guide showing how to hold and use Moribashi chopsticks
1
Set the Base Place the first chopstick Rest one chopstick between your thumb and index finger, supported at the base of your thumb and ring finger.
2
Add the Second Hold it like a pencil Hold the second chopstick like a pencil — resting on your middle finger and held under your index finger.
3
Find the Grip Stabilize the bottom Stabilize the lower chopstick so it stays fixed. Your thumb, index, and middle finger control the upper one only.
4
Get the Movement Move only the top Gently lift and lower the upper chopstick using only your index and middle fingers. The bottom remains still.
5
Practice Picking Up Use the tip to pick up food Use the tip of the upper chopstick to pick up food while the bottom stays still. Focus on the very end of the tips.
6
Keep Practicing Start easy, go smaller Begin with larger foods and gradually challenge yourself with smaller pieces — sushi rice, edible flowers, fine herbs.
Care & Maintenance

Proper care keeps your Moribashi performing like new for years. Follow these simple guidelines:
