MIYABI 6000 MCT 7-Inch Rocking Santoku, Brown
Dishwasher Safe |
MIYABI's Artisan line brings together centuries-old Seki bladesmithing with modern materials, and this rocking Santoku is a good example of that pairing. At its core is SG2 micro-carbide powder steel, wrapped in a hand-hammered Tsuchime finish that helps food release cleanly from the blade as you cut. Each edge is hand-honed to a true katana profile — a nod to the samurai sword-making tradition Seki is known for. The handle is shaped from Cocobolo Rosewood pakkawood to match the blade's character, finished with brass and red spacers, a mosaic pin, and a stainless steel end cap. The D-shaped profile is built to sit naturally in the hand through long stretches of cutting. Every knife in this line is handcrafted in Seki, Japan.
