Dans "Damas sauvage", plus de 300 couches d'acier dur, élastique et dur sont forgées manuellement dans un processus pouvant durer jusqu'à 2 jours pour créer une lame de la plus haute perfection et du plus grand plaisir visuel. Après 50 opérations manuelles supplémentaires, il devient un spécimen unique en acier de Damas forgé à la main. Les couteaux ne vont bien sûr pas au lave-vaisselle et ne sont pas inoxydables. Le matériau du manche des couteaux damassés de la série Alpha est un bois de fer du désert extrêmement dur qui a jusqu'à 1 500 ans. Le manche de la version damassée du COUTEAU. est en bois de grenadille.
S'approprier un couteau forgé à partir d'acier de Damas est probablement le souhait de nombreux amateurs de couteaux. Au-delà de la pure fonctionnalité, c'est avant tout l'aspect fascinant et le savoir-faire du forgeron qui rendent ce matériau si désirable.

I liked the looks of the Okuma knife , it has nice blue handle with 3 rivets , very well made from Ginza Japanese steel and very sharp blade can cut paper because it's so sharp .

I have a few Japanese knives of high carbon steel that are my favourites, but the claim of VG10 steel on this blade at this price made it irresistible. The blade came sharp, but I typically sharpen to a higher level. Although I haven't refined the edge yet, I look forward to seeing the results on this blade, as I really like it on some of my pocket knives.
